From what I can tell it is the idea that we have an actual purpose in the game. After World of Warcraft, that is a refreshing idea about RvR. On WoW say that Alliance attacks Camp Taurajo- no big deal, eventually they are defeated or bored, and all the NPC's respawn. In Warhammer though, if we take a Keep- it's ours. It's ours until they can come take it from our cold dead hands (or claws). Or if we work together and capture the capital cities of Order- those are ours for a while. It makes a huge difference playing a game where everything your guild and faction do, changes everything in that world.
What led your guild to play Order or Destruction?
All but one of us likes the idea of being big, bad monsters that are out to crush anything and everything on the planet. Warhammer is black and white, with no shades of gray. You are either big, mean tough villains, or stalwart, heroic, bastions of (YUCK!) goodness.
